She sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Customer Behavior and the Journal of Marketing Management. A Consumer Culture Theory (CCT) scholar, her principal research focuses on the exchanges between biotechnology markets and consumers of biotech products and services, and she founded the Reproductive Marketing Research Group (Repro Mark), an international, interdisciplinary collective studying how reproductive technologies reshape marketing, healthcare, and consumer culture. Her work has appeared in Social Science &amp; Medicine, Marketing Theory, Recherche et Applications en Marketing, Journal of Marketing Management, Consumption, Markets &amp; Culture, Women\u2019s Studies, The Sociological Review Magazine and the Journal of Customer Behaviour, and she previously worked for the BBC as a cultural affairs consultant. She recently co-edited a collective volume on the marketisation of the menopause, published by Routledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Chloe He (Co-Founder and Research Lead)<\/strong><br>Researcher affiliated with University College London, working at the intersection of reproductive health, embryology, and medical imaging\/AI. Her research includes work comparing manual grading against deep-learning embryo-scoring models (such as CHLOE EQ\u2122) and their potential sex-selection biases, alongside systematic reviews on IVM\/ICSI outcomes and studies on pre-implantation genetic testing. She has also co-authored work on LGBTQ+ inclusion in UK fertility care, including a nationwide audit of LGBTQ+ inclusion in fertility care providers in the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Lez Trujillo Torres<\/strong><br>Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Illinois Chicago. She studies how hierarchies of value and inequalities emerge and are reproduced in the marketplace, often in the context of underserved consumers and communities, health markets, and technology innovation, with implications for service experience design, consumer well-being, public policy, and social, economic, and racial justice. She has published in the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Public Policy &amp; Marketing, Journal of the Association for Consumer Research, and Marketing Theory, and won the 2023 Thomas C. Kinnear\/Journal of Public Policy &amp; Marketing Award. Before academia she spent over 15 years working on social and economic justice issues including affordable housing, homeownership in low-income communities, and consumer financial protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Paromita Goswami<\/strong><br>Professor of Marketing and Social Innovation at Shiv Nadar University, India. She has 19 years of academic experience and 4.5 years of industry experience, having started as an entrepreneur before moving into teaching, academic administration, and brand consulting for multinational clients. Her research sits at the confluence of marketing and social issues, and her career focus is on using consumer research techniques to drive social change, engaging students with equity and justice issues in both research and teaching.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Giselle Newton<\/strong><br>Digital health sociologist and Research Fellow at the University of Queensland, based at the Centre for Digital Cultures and Societies and the Australian Ad Observatory (ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society). Her research focuses on how commercial digital platforms shape individuals&#8217; experiences of family and intimate life, including how reproductive and genetic technologies shape personal life and family relationships, such as donor-conceived people&#8217;s use of digital technologies, direct-to-consumer DNA testing, and digital advertising of fertility treatments and services. She has published in Sociology, Human Reproduction, New Media &amp; Society, Social Media + Society, and Sociology of Health &amp; Illness, and was awarded the Early Career International Visiting Fellowship at the University of Sheffield for 2024\u201325.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Anna Schneider-Kamp<\/strong><br>Associate Professor of Health and Consumption at the University of Southern Denmark, in the &#8220;Consumption, Culture and Commerce&#8221; research group, and holds a PhD in Economics &amp; Business Administration. Her research sits at the nexus of medical sociology, consumer research, and digital health, with an interdisciplinary focus on how health, prevention, and inequalities are shaped by social structures, markets, and emerging technologies. She has reconceptualized &#8220;health capital&#8221; from a Bourdieusian perspective, theorizing how social, cultural, economic, and symbolic forms of capital shape individuals&#8217; positions and practices in the social field of health, work she has extended empirically through methods like the 12-Circles Drawing Technique and AI-augmented qualitative analysis. Beyond this, she investigates health practices, prevention strategies, patient empowerment, and topics like COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy and occupational cancer prevention.
